About Us

Toowong RSL Sub-Branch was formed in 1919, the year following the end of the ‘Great War’, World War I. As such, we recently celebrated 100 years of support to current and former serving members of Australia’s Defence Force and their families. Our motto is ‘The Price of Liberty is Eternal Vigilance’.

The Sub-Branch office is located in the Wests Bulldogs which is located adjacent to Toowong Memorial Park in which the Cenotaph stands, being erected in 1922 by the local community.
