Our Services

Toowong RSL Sub-Branch is part of RSL South Eastern District (SED), one of a number of districts within RSL Queensland. The following services are provided by SED for veterans, current serving members and their families. These services are free. You can contact SED here.

• Career transition assistance from Defence
  
• Emergency financial assistance
  
• Bereavement support
  
• DVA pensions advice and representation
  
• Short term crisis accommodation
  
• Support to complete DVA claims
  

RSL Queensland also collaborates with a number of ex-service organisations to better assist current and ex-serving personnel. These organisations can be found in the Ex-service Organisation Directory.

We also conduct an ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day service each year at the Cenotaph on top of the hill in Toowong Memorial Park. Other services are also conducted throughout the year as warranted.

Members of the sub-branch also make hospital and home visits to sick or injured members as well as conducting a ‘poppy service’ at funerals of ex-service men and women.
